Rang De Basanti is one the most interesting dynamic patriotic film for the youth. The film beautifully showcased how the youth fought against the ill deeds of the government and made sure that justice is done even though knowing that it would cost their lives.

There are many heroes without uniform and one of them was Meera who challenged the court verdict and made sure that justice is done. Instead of compromising with the situation and blaming the system without taking any action, she took a stand and raised the voice- ‘Justice has been denied’.

In Mulk, Taapsee’s character Aarti is head strong girl, lawyer by profession who married a Muslim boy. She opposed to her husband when he tried to decide the religion of the unborn baby. She took stand for the Muslim family in the court when public prosecutor tried to make court belief that the family supported Murad is executing the terrorist activities.

Sehmaat is one role model for the youth- the innocent Kashmiri girl, who sacrificed her academic, family and friends to save her country. Struggling with her emotions, Sehmat manages to keep her country’s safety as first priority. Her dialogue ‘Watan ke aage kuch nahi’ still give us spine-chills.

7. Shah Rukh Khan
swades-759 Shah Rukh Khan has given us many memorable patriotic films like- Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, Swades, Veer-Zaara, Chak De India and My Name is Khan. Actor has proved that one doesn’t need uniform to be a hero. One can always find a way to make contribution towards the country.

Akshay KumarAkshay-Kumar-movies-jolly-llb-2From being an undercover spy to spreading menstrual hygiene- Akshay Kumar has done it all. It started with Vipul Shah’s 2007 romantic drama-comedy Namastey London, Akshay essayed the character of Punjabi husband who briefed Britishers about the Indian culture and strengths when they were badmouthing about India. His films like - Gabbar Is Back, Baby, Airlift, Padman, Toilet and Rustom has made him face of being ‘nationalistic pride and commitment’.
