Most mistakes which happen while shooting the scenes are edited out during the final cut of the movie. But still some mistakes even the editors miss and they end up on the final print. Below is the list of some of these mistakes which we observed in the movies released. Let us have a quick look.
1. Clueless (1995)
The rear view mirror kept appearing and disappearing in the scene where Josh (Paul Rudd); Cher’s (Alicia Silverstone) step-brother and his girlfriend pick her up from her home and they all play spot the rearview mirror in their car. Surprising that no one noticed it in the final cut.
2. 10 Things I Hate About You
When Bianca accidentally shoots her gym coach with an arrow, in the movie 0 Things I Hate About You, we see a student running to call for help in the background. I few pay more attention then we see that she stops, turns and looks directly at the camera when she thinks she is out of the frame. She was pretty much inside the camera frame at that time.
3. Bridesmaids (2011)
Jealousy in friendship. Annie (Kristen Wiig) and Helen (Rose Byrne) try to remind bride-to-be Lillian (Maya Rudolph), about the beautiful moments they have spent together of friendship. There is a scene where Annie is holding the microphone and the champagne and it keeps on switching from one hand to another magically. The mistake is small but irritates you once you have spotted it.
4. Harry Potter And The Philosophers Stone (2001)
The mistake is in the scene of the start of term feast. Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) is sitting right next to Hermione (Emma Watson). In the next scene Harry has suddenly changed his place and is now sitting beside Ron (Rupert Grint) on the other side of the table. It was easy to spot and was a major mistake. I mean Harry the least you can do is not teleport yourself when you are eating right?
4. Lord of the Rings-Return of the King (2003)
In the battle scene, Frodo (Elijah Wood) suffers from a scar on his jaw line. The mistake is that the scar kept switching its side according to its own convenience (bleh!). It is not very evident as you are engrossed with the battle between the good and the bad (an understatement). I wish I could choose where I would have my next scar.
5. Teen Wolf
One of the most hilarious and funny scenes in the entire movie, in its climax scene, we can see an extra closing his fly (ahem ahem!). Some people thought that it was done intentionally by the extra and it was a male who did that. Later it was revealed that the extra was in fact a woman! The extra white cloth visible in the scene was just a part of her white shirt. What the actual..??
