We all are aware of the fact that Hina Khan didn’t repeated a single cloth on Bigg Boss 11, not even a night suit. If you have watched Bigg Boss regularly then you might have heard Vikas Gupat saying on television that Hina was carrying more than hundred night suits. Hina Khan has carved her place as one of the most stylish contestant any reality show ever had. Recently she walked the ramp as a showstopper at Lakme Fashion Week for designer label OSAA by Adarsh on day 2.
While interacting with media, Hina Khan showed her gratitude towards Adarsh for giving her opportunity to walk at Lakme Fashion Week. She expressed her feeling after walking the ramp, saying that: “I feel on top of the world. I love Adarsh’s collection, it is very different and unique. Every piece in itself is very unique.”
She also went up on saying that walking on this prestigious ramp was challenging for her. She was quoted as saying: “Honestly, it was a challenge for me. I never thought I will reach or achieve this goal so fast because breaking that stereotyped image of the ‘bahu’ that I played for eight years, where I wore all Indian clothes, was more difficult. I have done (one of the) longest running shows of Indian TV and it was difficult.”
“When it is a one or two years long show, it is easy to move on (from a character), but for me, breaking that stereotype image was tough. However, I took it positively. I will not give up,” Hina added.
Talking about her future projects, Hina said: “I want to do good work – whether it is TV or films. I am reading scripts as far as films are concerned. So if something materialises, I would definitely like to take it up. As of now, I would like to take a break from reality shows. As far as TV and films are concerned, I am considering films to again take a leap of faith and take one step ahead in my career and see how it goes”.
Talking bout the style statement Hina said, “As far as style is concerned, I experimented a lot in the show and people liked my looks. I was happy, so it’s not over for me. I still have a long way to go.”
On not repeating clothes on Hina revealed that Vikas Gupta use to call her ‘POO of Kabhi Khush Kabhi Gham’. Actress was quoted as saying:
“I don’t know what went in to my mind and I decided I don’t want to repeat things in Bigg Boss. I did my bit and it kind of worked out for me. It was a wise decision to do what I did. Bigg Boss gave me a chance to show my fashion side. It gave me a bigger platform where I could show people that we can look different, dress differently and it can look good on us.”
“Vikas used to call me Pooh sometimes, you’re like one Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham ki Pooh- repeat nahi karungi clothes,” she added.
